Oooooh, good catch, sir.
Dez - let that geek flag fly high; you're in like company.
The Summers brothers? Atheists? Right on! And Nova? Awesome - I knew I liked him for a reason.

And you know, if Professor X is an atheist, that should say something right there.

Re: Godless Characters
To go back to video games I think most of the "ghoul" characters of the fallout universe are pretty secular, however not much context is provided one way or another in Fallout for anyone. Either religion is not even mentioned (which I think kinda hints that in the post nuclear apocalypse world, they doubt god is at the forefront of their thoughts seeing as how they live in shitholes), or there's crazy cults. Though I think one that is clearly secular Harold.

Patrick Jane, from the mentalist. Explicitly rationalist/atheist, even intelligently argues in favor of that position from time to time (which is impressive, for a primetime entertainment TV character). In the very first or second episode, he and co-character Grace Van Pelt have a low-key argument about the existence of god - and it was also (IMHO) interesting to see an intelligent christian character defending her own position on primetime TV (i.e. rather than christianity just being assumed, acted out and never discussed, like part of the scenery). But that's as far as the writers took it. Her christianity just faded into the background after that. They just did it for some character development and took it no further (unless it's in season 2, which I haven't watched yet)

He's not an atheist, but for the vegetarian fans here, Anng in Avatar The Last Airbender is the main character and he's also a vegetarian and a Buddhist monk.
