I've already pre-ordered it!
Along with Left 4 Dead, I also play Dead Space and Gears of War. When I just had the PS2 I used to pwn some SOCOM.

I wish I wasn't broke all the time, so I could afford an exbawks treeshitty+exbawksjive. I think my 1st grabs would be CoD 4, Street Fighter 4, Shadow Complex, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and BlazBlue
However, The extra $10 dollars for each plus the cost of going online, plus the extra shit needed to be purchased to do said things, it has a very hard time justifying itself
(my shit uses were within forum guidelines right?....right?)

Re: Godless Gamers, REPORT IN
Well, that failed. Has anyone tried out Aion yet? I've heard only good things about, and that it does everything right that WoW does, plus more. If so please let me know if it's worth trying or do I have to keep waiting until Star Wars: The Old Republic before I reemerge on the MMORPG scene?

The one with the giant wings? Nope. I played about 20 minutes of that other Star Wars MMO, and realized they aren't for me. At all.
By the way, awesome graph.

Yeah, Star Wars Galaxies SUCKED...but The Old Republic will play a lot like KOTOR if you've played that before, and 50 times MOAR EPIC!!!
Last game I played...
The last game I seriously played involved King Koopa.
I recall you had to blow into the game to clean it or it wouldn't work...
Yeah.
Although after hearing that Portal song I am interested in playing that.
Also... I could see myself getting into Wii.. heheh... *cough*

Let us know how that goes.
I remember those old cartridges. I remember the "blow to work" thing with those games, yeah.

Re: Godless Gamers, REPORT IN
Wii is where it's at console wise. If you want online go pc. Punch Out, Mario Galaxy, Madworld, Muramasa, Brawl, NO MOAR HEROES, The Super Mario game soon to come out (which looks fantastic), plus full GC backwords compatibility guaranteed, instead of screwed out of it depending which package you get. Not much can go wrong.
Re: Godless Gamers, REPORT IN
I guess it's finally time for me to report in. I've been playing video games from the late 1980's. I started with NES and I've owned every Nintendo console since, excluding all the portable ones, except the first gameboy. I've always been more of a console gamer, although I have played PC games now and then, and one of my all time favorite games has to be Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. Though I am a bit of a Nintendo fanboy I do enjoy playing with other consoles too. I almost bought an X360, but dropped the idea when I realized I barely have enough time to play my Wii.
At the moment I spend the little time I have for gaming almost exclusively with Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for Wii, which is just awesome. I'm anxiously waiting for the 2010 version which should be out in february. If someone here likes football games (and I mean proper football, not handegg ) and hasn't tried PES for Wii, I will definitely urge you to try it! It's unlike any footie game ever because of the very different control mechanism that actually works, unlike so many "revolutionary" control systems on the wii...

Real Games with Real People
While I do play and enjoy video games occasionally, my true love is for tabletop games. Board games, RPGs, card games, miniatures war games, and just about anything else you need other people to play. Does anyone here play tabletop?
Some of my favorites are:
Dungeons and Dragons
Warhammer 40,000
Puerto Rico
Power Grid
Citadels
Bang!
I like how that list looks so I won't add anymore.

^^ thank you for a being a necromancer of threads!
New Super Mario Bros. Wii has lived up to it's hype and then some, and I love it! It's absolutely nuts playing with 4 people, no matter how good they are. I can't wait for No More Heroes 2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
On PC I picked up Dragon Age: Origins, and anticipating the release of Mass Effect 2.

I just picked No More Heroes 2 and Mass Effect 2. Which should I start?
Re: Godless Gamers, REPORT IN
I've been a gamer my whole life. As a good little christian kid I played pong on the spectrum ZX81, it had a 1KB memory (cutting edge stuff!). It seems with each leap forward in gaming technology my faith took a leap back. Through Amstrad cpc464, NES to SNES (of cartridge blowing fame) The countless hours spent playing Super Mario Kart and Bomberman.
It was around this time that I lost the faith entirely. I can't say that gaming was responsable, (more so the hypocrasy of our church minister running of with a member of the congregation's wife). but I was glad of the extra hours on a sunday morning to hone my skills.
Next came the Nintendo64 and the Playstation One. Many more hours lost to Command & Conquer, Gran Tourismo and Tony Hawks.
Then the PS2 and Grand Theft Auto;Vice city and San Andreas. More Gran tourismo and Tony, so many hours....
Then the Wii and the Ps3, Zelda and yet more GTA. Fallout3, Wow what a game! How far things have come since pong. How many hours, days weeks and months spent gaming (not to mention all the PC gaming). No regrets though eh, think of all the hours of my life i've saved and will save not bothering God!

No, but from what I've gathered since I keep a beat on the game press, it's unnecessarily hard, and it tries too hard to be God of War
I've been playing though LOTS of Mass Effect 2, so much stuff to go over with whomever is interested, and No More Heroes 2 now, I've beat them both, both amazing games in totally different ways

Right now, I'm on Gluttony. It is EXACTLY like GOW. That being said, I don't think I can get GOW 3, as its only on PS3. As far as it being unnessecarily hard, if I can beat it, then anyone should, as I suck at these games. In some respects, the puzzles may be a little bit easier. Sometimes, I'll get stuck on GOW and have to refer to an online Strategy guide, because there's some itty bitty clue I over looked. I plan on getting Mass Effect 2, but not until I beat, or quit DI. I'm not familiar with No More Heroes 2, what type of game is it? Is the plot interesting?

NMH2 is a wii game, and it's basically what would happen if you put the anarchy of the internet, a satire of video game culture and plot/game devices, and a whole lot of weird and decided to cram it onto a disk. The plot is interesting and balls to the wall to put it bluntly

It it only available on Wii?
